Is your child experiencing a learning difficulty such as:
•ADD/ADHD, •Dyslexia, •Dyscalculia, •Autism Spectrum Disorders, •Dysgraphia, or •Poor memory?
Intervention strategies implemented by Whole Child Learning Solutions follows the child's natural developmental phases.
Because there are no quick fixes for lasting results
We begin with FDN for Kids by making sure that the child's body is ready for learning. Depending on the presentation of the child, parents order specialized lab tests to find out where support can be given in the body. Families will need to adopt a healthy diet and test to see to which foods the child is sensitive. Food sensitivities contribute to chronic inflammation, including in the brain. Other lab tests are given to detect possible pathogens, the presence of a leaky gut, and other markers such as neurotransmitters. Supplements may be suggested to optimize the healing of specific body systems.
Once the family has had a chance to begin to implement FDN for Kidsthen our Get Integrated! program can begin to be implemented. During this phase, children will continue on their nutrition plan, but will incorporated exercises that will help integrate their sensory motor systems, primitive reflexes, and both hemispheres of the brain. Depending on whether the child is local or consulting at a distance, he may be seen personally in a 1-1 setting periodically for more in-depth balancing.
Once the body and brain are more regulated, cognitive development and academic support may be necessary to fill in the gaps. Such tasks may include auditory memory, working memory, rhythm & timing, and visualization. In addition, specific skill work in mathematics, reading, and writing may be necessary as well. As your child approaches the end of the nutritional and sensory motor work, we will discuss options for both cognitive and academic interventions.
